Cat Paw Water is a Nashville based Americana Alt-Rock  band originally founded in 2010 by singer songwriter guitarist Christopher Witt and singer Vasti Witt. CPW has grown from an acoustic duo into a 5 piece power group. Since 2010 we have performed all over Nashville from the honkytonks of lower Broadway to the clubs of East Nashville, as well as several local and regional festivals all over middle Tennessee. Cat Paw Water is no stranger to the road with books this past year stretching as far west and Seattle Washington. (join our email list to get notifications for when we come to your town)

Our self titled debut album is available world wide on all major digital outlets including iTunes, Amazon Music, and Apple Music and can be streamed online through Spotify Music. The album is also available to download through our "music" tab and is free to listen to right here on the website. 

The "cat paw water sound" - CPW always strives to put on the best possible live shows we can. We often play a mix of original material and a blend of popular cover music that helped influence our musical journey. Our influences include but are not limited to Ryan Adams, Tom Petty, the Beatles, and Eric Clapton. Booking as both a full piece rock band and an acoustic duo allows us to reach as many people as possible. So whether its a on stage in East Nashville, a theatre in Franklin TN, or a coffee shop on the road we always look forward to seeing you there and sharing the "cat paw water sound" with you.
